Shrimp Dejonghe

The perfect shrimp dish with loads of garlic and wine. A guaranteed crowd pleaser!

Prep Time:  10  minutes |  Cook Time:  20  minutes |  Total Time:  30 minutes |  Servings:  10

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups  San Zenone  Bianco*
  • 1 cup  Countryside Creamery  Unsalted Butter, divided
  • 1 head garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground  Stonemill  Sea Salt Grinder
  • 1 teaspoon ground  Stonemill  Peppercorn Grinder
  • 2 16-ounce packages  Specially Selected  Black Tiger Shrimp, thawed and peeled*
  • 2 cups  Chef's Cupboard  Italian Bread Crumbs

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine wine, 1/2 cup butter, garlic, salt and pepper; simmer 5 minutes.
  3. In a 13x9-inch pan, lay shrimp in a single layer. Pour wine sauce over top.
  4. Melt remaining 1/2 cup butter and mix together with breadcrumbs. Press over shrimp and bake for 15 minutes or until shrimp is pink and breadcrumbs are lightly browned.

Tip: Serve with crusty bread to sop up any remaining sauce!
